To be honest, I have always felt a little weird about creating an account simply because I am a beauty Youtuber myself and have been for going on 4 years. Let me just say, I don't terribly dislike Jen, mostly because I love organization and it's hard to come across people who make videos pertaining to that.
But let me just say, I have completely changed my mind and after watching her latest Beauty Buzz, I will have a hard time trusting anything she promotes.
Like I said, I am a Youtuber and was contacted by Sigma a few years ago to become an affiliate. I agreed, but after trying a set of brushes from them (that I paid for with my OWN money) I hated them. I never once used the affiliate link they gave me because I refused to make money off sales of a product that I genuinely did not like. However, I still get the affiliate emails they send out. At the beginning of every month, Sigma tells their affiliates to promote a certain product and they will offer a larger commission to you with each of that product you get someone to buy.
Well, on May 2nd I received the email and guess what the product of the month to promote was for May? Yep, that "Spot on Concealer Kit" Jen talks about in her favorites. Let me repeat. The email was sent out May 2nd and Jen posted her Beauty Buzz on May 4th. So she just happened to loooove that product the whole month of April and it just happened to be the product to promote for May? No, I'm calling BS on that one Jenny.
I guarantee she did not use that once in the month of April and threw in her favorites at the last minute once she heard she could receive a 15% commission with each one that one of her minions bought.

Maureen Lewis 5 hrs · So I went back to the doctor yesterday and had a chest X-ray done, and they basically said there could be something really serious going on. Based on what they said, it seems the worst case scenario could be leukemia or hodgkin's lymphoma, because I have pretty much all of the symptoms of both of those. However I am really hoping that it is something less severe, because I know there are other less severe things that can cause the same symptoms. I am supposed to have a CT scan done on Friday, so hopefully I should know more by then. In the meantime the doctor also said I have lost about 7 lbs since I was there in March, which makes almost 15 lbs since December. I didn't weigh much even prior to this, so hopefully I don't lose any more. I'm not asking anyone to pray for me, but of course you are welcomed to it if you feel it in your heart. I just hope I get better.

Hello All! Long time lurker, first time poster. To be honest, I have always felt a little weird about creating an account simply because I am a beauty Youtuber myself and have been for going on 4 years.
Let me just say, I don't terribly dislike Jen, mostly because I love organization and it's hard to come across people who make videos pertaining to that.
But let me just say, I have completely changed my mind and after watching her latest Beauty Buzz, I will have a hard time trusting anything she promotes.
Like I said, I am a Youtuber and was contacted by Sigma a few years ago to become an affiliate. I agreed, but after trying a set of brushes from them (that I paid for with my OWN money) I hated them. I never once used the affiliate link they gave me because I refused to make money off sales of a product that I genuinely did not like. However, I still get the affiliate emails they send out. At the beginning of every month, Sigma tells their affiliates to promote a certain product and they will offer a larger commission to you with each of that product you get someone to buy.
Well, on May 2nd I received the email and guess what the product of the month to promote was for May? Yep, that "Spot on Concealer Kit" Jen talks about in her favorites. Let me repeat. The email was sent out May 2nd and Jen posted her Beauty Buzz on May 4th. So she just happened to loooove that product the whole month of April and it just happened to be the product to promote for May? No, I'm calling BS on that one Jenny.
I guarantee she did not use that once in the month of April and threw in her favorites at the last minute once she heard she could receive a 15% commission with each one that one of her minions bought.

So I went back to the doctor yesterday and had a chest X-ray done, and they basically said there could be something really serious going on. Based on what they said, it seems the worst case scenario could be leukemia or hodgkin's lymphoma, because I have pretty much all of the symptoms of both of those. However I am really hoping that it is something less severe, because I know there are other less severe things that can cause the same symptoms. I am supposed to have a CT scan done on Friday, so hopefully I should know more by then. In the meantime the doctor also said I have lost about 7 lbs since I was there in March, which makes almost 15 lbs since December. I didn't weigh much even prior to this, so hopefully I don't lose any more. I'm not asking anyone to pray for me, but of course you are welcomed to it if you feel it in your heart. I just hope I get better.

So I found out today from my doctor that I probably do have lymphoma, and according to what I read I am most likely in stage 4 if I do have it since it has spread outside my neck area and into my lungs. Hopefully it isn't as bad as it seems or can be treated easily. I am just concerned and I feel completely helpless. I wish there was something I could do.

I ended up getting a CT scan and at least 2 IVs administered. In all it took about 6 hours, but he stayed with me the entire time
